
Rob Browne was born in London and studied Medicine at Leicester University, qualifying in 1993. He did his vocational training for general practice at Countesthorpe and has been a partner since 2000.
He is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and is a GP trainer. Within the practice he is the Clinical Governance Lead and has an interest in information technology in general practice (he is the author of this web-site).
Outside of the practice he is a GP with Special Interest in Substance Misuse for Leicestershire County and Rutland PCT.
He lives in Bruntingthorpe with his wife Sarah and son Matthew. He is a keen footballer and other interests include music and reading.
